One of the child frequently observing coins thrown on bodies in the procession collected 50 paisa and one rupee coin made Rs.20 and handed it over to his mentor John Devaraj. That money is invested for the production of the film ‘Ananda’ says John Devaraj.

On the eve of the children day John Devaraj screened the ‘Ananda’ film at Renukamba theatre in Malleswaram. It is all about the life of destitute children who are neglected after birth. There are some very hard realities John Devaraj captured that shake any stony heart.

He is into cinema as art director a multifaceted personality has directed ‘Ananda’ a children film that has already been screen in Japan and Czech countries.
